If you're air conditioning your tractor I have to assume you have a cab. I'm looking for a cab for my JD 870. I'd appreciate any pointers. So far all I've found is Curtis and Sims.

Here are a couple of links to check out. Have never dealt with any of these companies. These should at least show you a few of the styles available. Perhaps you could also adapt a seat such as that used in long-haul trucking. Might find a used one at the local large-truck wrecking yard.

Not really, I use a soft cab(insulated r-13) I live on the coast so I had a local boat sail maker do it. They make enclosures for fly bridges etc. They used a Sumbrella (sp) brand material. Works great easy to remove and looks factory installed {If they did }.The problem with the hard inclosures for me Too much cutting, couldn't use my FEL and have cab attached, etc. It was a perm install and was $2,000 My soft was $475. I used a canopy ready made (metal) $300.

I purchased 100 seats from www.equipmentseats.com for my tractor restoration business. My order arrived on schedule and the products I recieved were good quality. I will continue doing business with www.equipmentseats.com .

Tactorboy_CEO sounds like another spammer. It would be interesting to know if his message was posted from the same ISP hosting the referenced company.

With the pricing he was asking for his seats; I say DREAM ON! If you want to advertise, support TP and Dennis like the rest of the fine and professional advertising sponsors and purchase and ad banner.

I replaced my seat on my 750. Unfortunately, the standard sprung seats will not fit on these tractor. I bought a JD Yellow seat from Northern tool and modified the mounts to fit the bolt pattern. The JD replacement seat was the similar crummy Yanmar and double the price naturally.
